I got a real flu thirty years ago. And indeed it is a overall similiar, but in my case It took much longer to recover, about 6 to 8 months. So a 'good' real flu can take that long to recover too I guess.

I wasn't the only person back then with this long lasting flu, I lot of people were, and also lots of healthy and fit people like myself who were ill for months!

I had the swine flu back around 2009. It was the worst sickness of my life. Felt like I ran 2 marathons in a row then got beaten up. Delta was not so nice and was a bad cold for me, nowhere near as bad as swine flu.
