Such prizes are part of ordinary problem solving these days. We have prizes for everything. Our "leaders" need to be forced to face the reality that they spent trillions doing little (or worse) instead of participating in the sort of solution baiting that they've made popular over the years.

I'm picturing a contest, with a $1 million prize, for the best political system that can replace the monstrosity that gave us this crisis (and a viable plan for implementing this new political reality).
