I figured out a plan!

If you applied for the job on or before the “cutoff” comment on Nov 19, here’s how I’ll find the best candidate in a neutral and fair way.

1. Go to my “Ask me anything article”

2. Pick just two questions to answer and post your response in the comments just like a normal reader.

3. Do NOT answer more than two questions in this round or you will be disqualified.

4. Try NOT to choose a question with 3 or more answers. There will be some race conditions on answers, so don’t sweat it if there are 4 or 5.

5. I’ll have each person who asked the question vote on the best answer.

6. The winners of the first round advance to the next round and we repeat the process. This give you two chances to win and advance.

7. In your answer at the end, add “If you thought my answer was the best of the ones you received, please reply to this answer saying “BESTANSWER” (one word). Thanks!”

8. Gaming the system by having your friends ask questions and vote for your answer will result in immediate disqualification.

That way, everyone gets answered by 3 experts and in the end we’ll have a few really good surrogates.

I made an "Ask me anything" article and now I'm overwhelmed with questions. Whoops!

I need a surrogate me. Someone who is already familiar with the subject matter who can ideally answer most/all of the questions that I’ve already answered and then seek my assistance for the harder stuff.
