Even more evidence that nobody should wear a face mask
First of all, they don't work. Second of all, they are detrimental to your health.
I recently updated my Bangladesh study mask article to add two new resources of interest.
A paper published in JAMA in 2019 showed that surgical masks and N95 masks were completely ineffective against the flu. They both offered the same amount of protection, i.e., none. This is of course why nobody wears them to stop a virus. In fact, the surgical mask actually performed slightly better than the N95 mask in the study. How can that be? It’s obvious: both masks offered no protection whatsoever so it was a wash and the differences were simply random.

I think 90% of the population is well over the mask mayhem. If it makes somebody to happy to cover her/his face, have at it. My biggest concern would be requiring masks for children. In my opinion, that is sanctioned child abuse.
Sadly I am visiting an ENT doctor office this week and initial paperwork says I have to wear a mask , I am going there because I can't breathe through my nose , but ironically they want to impede my breathing while in waiting room and office, how F-ed up does this sound , I will not comply though and make a huge stink about it in the public setting, if we don't fight they will win remember all of you !!
