Within that article, it says, "CDC encourages laboratories to consider adoption of a multiplexed method that can facilitate detection and differentiation of SARS-CoV-2 and influenza viruses." Are you too stupid to realize that means the current test CAN NOT distinguish between SARS-CoV-2 and influenza viruses, or are you simply a troll seeking to waste everyone's time? You don't realize that's why flu disappeared for a year? Also, Reiner Fuellmich's team served Drosten with a "cease and desist" order a year ago, presumably causing WHO and CDC to announce the phaseout of the test for the above reason.
