I am a 55 year old physician perfect health. My risk of hospitalization and death from Covid is about .2%. If the vaccine was 90% effective at reducing the chance of death that would still only give me a less than 1% absolute risk reduction. We know that the vaccines are not nearly 90% effective, they don’t stop infection spread and transmission and they are associated with an unacceptably high risk of adverse events including death. So my decision not to take the vaccine seems like the obvious choice.

This poll is perfect because right now, the unvaccinated are living a totally different life than the vaccinated. I know hundreds of unvac (live in a red state and have a lot of friends and family unvac) and you know what -- no one is sick. No one. Yet I hear from friends and colleagues (I am a nurse) that people are so sick, over and over again they are sick, the hospitals are full. My colleagues in British Columbia are telling me that children are dying and the hospitals are overrun (there is a VERY high vac rate there, which is why we left). Huh?! Honestly, it is amazing to me that now the difference between the vac and the unvac is so incredible. We lost 7 vac friends to SADS since November 1st.... all in their 40s and 50s. No unvac friends. As they say, the proof is in the pudding (aka. reality!). Thank you for all you do!
