Earlier this month, the Regional Council of Medicine of the State of Amazonas (CREMAM) unanimously acquitted Dr. Flavio Cadegiani, physician, scientist and lead author of research on proxalutamide to treat COVID-19. The northern arm of the study took place in six cities in the Amazon. All charges were dropped after the doctor's innocence was proven.

Study praised in the world
In Brazil, the study was mercilessly attacked by the press, which generated a wave of complaints in medical councils. However, abroad, in the most renowned scientific institutions in the world, the high quality of the study was attested.
At Canada's McMaster University, the birthplace of Evidence-Based Medicine, the study was rated one of the highest marks among all COVID drug studies. The same happened with the analysis of the COVID-NMA website , linked to Cochrane, France, which seeks to analyze scientific evidence of treatments. There, they concluded that there was little bias, which proves the soundness of the work.

An honest scientific review board?
So how was Cadegiani exonerated? Is it because the review board consisted of honest scientists for a change?
Sadly, the answer is that the review board is corrupt and they wanted to skewer him, but they simply lacked any evidence to justify doing so.

The sad truth is that I have yet to find an honest medical review board anywhere on the planet.

Elephant in the room. Most honest decent doctors and nurses are quitting, being fired or taking early retirement. This is not an accident. This is a deliberate policy.
....almost 35 years ago I became a Federally Protected Whistle Blower. I worked for an 8 billion dollar a year US DoD entity and was ordered to commit petty crimes at their behest while working in Japan. I refused. The Chain of Command abused me terribly....threatening me that "they would get me"....they would "frame me"...they would do..."anything they could to get rid of me" . I was a minor player in The Empire, and my job was comical compared to Whistle Blowers who report really dangerous or illegal, treasonous conduct by the US Government. But what I learned is...that didn't matter. It didn't matter about the degree of corruption, or the fact that I stood up to it. The real issue is that when you betray the government, when you don't go along with their agenda and crimes...they will try to obliterate you. I fought them for over two decades, and finally forced them to retire me. But the sad part is that I tried to explain to countless other people, including family members....that the entire government is corrupt. From the lowest clerk, to the highest position or 4 Star General...the system is totally and deeply corrupted. No one listened 35 years ago...no one listened 20 years ago, no one listened after the lies of 911. No one listened. Now look at the level of corruption...and try to figure out a way to destroy the corrupt apparatus, before the entire country falls. Good luck with that.
