"Sata Yuga" having the highest of Daivic pravritti; then decreasing in "Treta Yuga", "Dwapar Yuga" and finally the least in "Kali Yuga". Kali Yuga has the highest of Asuri Pravritti.
Right now we are progressing through Kali Yuga, the yuga controlled by the demon Kali (not to be confused with Godess Kali or Kaali). Demon Kali is the "Maayavi" (Illusionist) demon who was permitted to live and flourish in i) Taverns ii) Slaughtering places iii) Gambling houses iv) Women and men of unchaste lives and finally, v) Gold. Using his power of Illusion the demon Kali lures humans towards his domain of influence in order to consume humans with his Rakshashi or Asura pravritti (demonic propensity).
The age of Kali Yuga is approx 2600 years. This is approx 10% of the time taken for one Precession cycle of Earth. The Yugas have longevity in the ration of 1:2:3:4 - Kali Yuga, Dwapar Yuga, Treta Yuga and Sata Yuga. Dharma (duties of a human towards prospering the Self as well as prospering the universe one perceives and conceives around itself - basically what you take and give back to the universe) is personified as a Celestial Bull standing on four legs of - Austerity, Cleanliness, Compassion and Truth. Sata Yuga has abundance of all four qualities and humans flourish with them to achieve Moksha (liberation from the cycle of birth and death). In Treta Yuga, the leg of Austerity is lost. Hence only Cleanliness, Compassion and Truth supports you to perform your Dharma. In Dwapar Yuga, Dharma loses another leg of Cleanliness. Finally, in Kali Yuga, Dharma is left with only one leg to stand on - that of Truth. But demon Kali's mental influence is so powerful that in today's times humanity is converted into a critical mass of Ignorance under Kali's influence, so that if one speaks truth in today's times, he/she is labeled as a deranged person.

This is also ilustrated in the "Purana" (ancient Hindu literature) in the text of "Samudra Manthan" (churning of the Ocean) where the Daivik powers fight/struggle/compete with the Asuri powers to get control over the "Amrita" (Elixir) to consume it in order to become immortal.
The summary of it is like this - In life, we are churned through different challenges and obstacles that we face. The ultimate intention is to realize our higher consciousness through learning through these so called tests. Our physical self is personified by the Mandara mountain that was used as the churning rod. The problems and obstacles are personified by the Vasuki snake which was the rope and the turtle form of Vishnu signifies the eternal dharma that forms the base of all realizations. The jewels that came out are our good qualities that are finally revealed and the gifts we get when we successfully face the tests and the poison is the negativity that does come out and has to be dissolved in the throat of wisdom by our Higher consciousness personified by Lord Shiva.
In current times - Kali Yuga, we have reached a final critical stage where an "Entitled" group manipulates, distracts and deceives the human mind and controls the functioning of the world through manipulation of the "Reserve Currency" and Gambling through Stock Exchanges, Internal and External security mechanism enforced on Countries through the "Military Industrial Complex" and the conducting of Fifth/Sixth Generation Warfare through the Invisible enemies of the types of - Chemical (GMO, pesticides, preservatives, etc), Biological (HIV, HPV, SARS, Ebola, Zika, Dengu, Corona virus, etc) and Radiological (5G, Microwave, Smart Meters, etc), and Spying on individuals by Big-Tech and Social Media companies.
