There was a death reported days after an outboard race accident on the Caloosahatchee River in the 1970's or early 1980's. Between the Hwy41 bridge and the new Cape Coral bridge, Ft Myers. Mostly rain runoff, but the salinity gets mixed with high tides. I'm betting it was this bug. We just didn't know about amoeba's except GI issues in Mexico.
Hi Steve, Where nasal lavages are concerned, doesn't the addition of salt and sodium bicarbonate to the water basically kill ANYTHING that is in the water? I perform nasal lavages all the time due to an ongoing sinus problem and use filtered and UV treated water that originates from a local freshwater well (non-industrialized region of Mexico). I can't imagine there's any risk following this method. I'd love to hear your thoughts if you disagree.
I started using the chlorine dioxide as the sterilizer in the water for my nasal rinse. I would highly recommend giving it a try. I had something that had me congested continuously for years. I had been doing a nasal rinse but the first time I tried it with the chlorine dioxide I could feel a difference shortly after the nasal rinse. The symptoms seem to persist at a really low level or come back after an interval for a while. But now I don't do the nasal rinses and don't have that issue
But Steve people cry, why can't Bill Gates make a totally safe and effective mRNA vaccine for this.
On a serious note, great stack, and contains simple and free/cheap methods to lower peoples risk of an already rare but chance of dying a horrible death. 10/10

It depends....not all well water is truly safe. And city water contains many contaminants including Fluoride that are not recommended to be flushed through the highly permeable sinus passages.
